Profile

Following graduation from Auckland University in 1975 Miles joined Butler White & Hanna (now Simpson Grierson) before travelling to London where he was employed by Allen & Overy as a member of their banking and securities team. On his return he joined Russell McVeagh before joining Castle Connor Green (as it then was) in 1985, becoming a partner of the firm later that year.

Miles undertakes a wide range of company, commercial and property work. His clients have and/or do include publicly listed companies, medium sized companies, small businesses and high net worth individuals. Miles has advised on a number of specialised banking and security transactions as well as offers to the public of securities and compliance with Securities Act requirements. Miles has been a member of the Auckland District Law Society Property and Conveyancing Committee and is currently an ADLS Committee Member. He has established a strong rapport with clients of the firm for whom he is responsible and has established and acts as Trustee of a large number of Trusts and Estates.
