Profile

Donald joined Castle/Brown in 2003. Before then he was employed by CCH (New Zealand) Limited as a company law analyst. Donald edited publications such as New Zealand Company Law and Practice, New Zealand Conveyancing Law and Practice and NZ Law of Sales and Marketing.

Before coming to New Zealand in 1998, Donald was a Partner in a large South African law firm where he acted for some of the major developers in the region. Donald also taught Business Law and Employment law at the University of Kwazulu Natal.

Donald acts for Vendors and Purchasers in residential and commercial property transactions as well as in all aspects of conveyancing.

Other areas of property law in which Donald has expertise include commercial leases, subdivisions and financing arrangements.

Donald is experienced in the application of Employment Law, particularly in the areas of Employment Agreements and personal grievance claims and has successfully represented both employers and employees ranging from CEOs to wage earners.

Donald is focused on meeting clients’ needs and to providing speedy and efficient problem solving.
